The Independent Physician Association of America (TIPAAA) Selects Chronic Care Management, LLC as Its Preferred CCM Provider

Parties anticipate wide scale CCM program participation among TIPAAA's 300,000 physician members

​​Chronic Care Management, LLC today announced that it has been selected as the preferred provider of chronic care management services for members of The Independent Physician Association of America (TIPAAA), the leading trade association serving independent and integrated physician associations in the U.S.   TIPAAA currently represents over 3,500 IPAs and provides education, advocacy, resources and success tools to its membership network that spans the country.

Although approximately 100 million people in the U.S. have multiple chronic conditions and would benefit from a chronic care management (CCM) program, participation rates have been low among physician practices thus far.  It has been reported that the slow national adoption is due in part  to physician concerns of inadequate reimbursement and disruption.  Dr. Mills noted, “When we partner with practices, we work to understand their current and staffing, and then provide a customized solution to help facilitate the practice’s CCM success, which typically leads to healthier patients and healthy bottom line margin increases.”  Mills continued,   “We are tremendously excited about empowering independent physicians with a clinical and financial tool to help drive goal-directed, portable care planning, alongside an important new revenue source.  We look forward to closely partnering with the and practices TIPAAA represents to help drive their clinical and financial success.”
